CRAVING THE ABSOLUTE : The Original Note

ree

When I was a child, every 6 months, a gentleman named Yurek was coming to our house to tune my piano. Before his visits, the notes didn't quite sound right; almost like they became totally different notes. The reason for the piano to go out of tune was the fluctuations of the temperature and of humidity. Often, I couldn't realize how bad their sound had changed until Yurek was done working on the piano. It was only then that I could appreciate the sound of each note just like I was hearing them for the first time. And it was only then that the sound of the music played was harmonious and true to the original writings. There is mirroring everywhere on this Planet which makes our experience as human beings a fascinating travel back to ourselves. Just like the tuning of a piano can restore the sound of the notes, we, on the Spiritual Journey, aspire to find again our Original Note to resound in harmony in the Great Universal Symphony.

I dedicate the second part of Craving the Absolute, to the True Self, the Original Note. As I mentioned in part 1, craving the Absolute is a wide subject, it touches many aspects of ourselves. To talk about the True Self and why I like to call it the Original Note, it seems important to talk about Source. Every civilization has its own myth around God (or Gods) and of how it all began.

We talk about a Creator but there are 2 different types of Creators. The first one creates the world of matter from nothing (ex nihilo) and the other fertilizes a pre-existing material of chaos into cosmos, it is the Architect/Conceiver (demiurge). I'm particularly interested in the concept of Demiurge. For example, the Demiurge Ptah, from Ancient Egypt is said to have conceived the World by the thought of his Heart and to have given life through the magic of his Word. Thought is vibration. The Word is also vibration... sound vibration.

From the initial sound, everything is created including our Souls. Each Soul being the expression of God. It is interesting to note that the word "expression" comes from the Latin exprimere meaning "press out". The Soul is Source pushed outside of itself. And more precisely it is Source outside of itself experiencing itself in different ways. This is considered cosmos or harmony. All expressions of the Source are living harmoniously in the Harmonious Universe created from chaos. This is why I like to see each and every soul as a musical note, as a unique sound expressing a specific aspect of God. I see the Original Note as our True Self. I, of course, recognize that what we call True Self differ from one person to another; its definition can even change based on the level of Consciousness from which we look at it. My understanding of True Self is that it is what is way beyond our personality sphere.

It is the unaltered and unalterable "I".

The search for our True Self is in fact the necessity to remember and to hear again the sound of our Original Note. Throughout our many incarnations where our consciousness kept focus on a limited range of our multidimensionality, we accumulated layers of False self based on unhealed wounds (traumas). Just like the piano and the fluctuations of temperature and humidity, causing the notes to sound different, we start to sound different from our Original Note. But unlike the piano, the change in our True Sound is an illusion or more accurately it is an impression, because as I said above, our True Self in unalterable. All we need to do is to become conscious of our true desires, emotions, and our intuition for they work as compass to guide us back to ourselves. Our Heart is the purest door from where our note never stops resounding. Some of us have built strong barriers around the Heart making it harder to hear our Note but it doesn't mean it is gone or changed.

The Journey we embark on to align to our True Self is the Journey of remembering our Original Note. We live in a World of frequency and vibration but also a World of Reciprocity.

When we vibrate in a certain frequency we receive back the same frequency manifested in everything in our experience. When we "play" a different note than our Original Note, we attract around us the exact frequency than the one we play We manifest environments that are incompatible with who we really are. Oftentimes, it is only when we are surrounded by so much of a misaligned frequency that we truly realize we are not in alignment with our True Self. When we decide to realign, the frequency of our surroundings aligns with our new frequency. It manifests with changes in our social circles, in our activities, in the flow of abundance, in our physical health and mental health.

Although this might be felt like being stripped of everything that we love, it allows us to attract what is truly beneficial for our fulfillment. We can manifest in this dense plane, a touch of the Absolute for the greatest good of all.
