Patchouli

We use Patchouli essential oil in our Root Chakra Soap.
Patchouli is a tropical plant cultivated in Indonesia and the Philippines. It is known for its exhilarating scent but also for its purifying and regenarative properties. Patchouli essential oil has many uses including : bettering blood circulation and helping to heal the skin.
Metaphysically, Patchouli is used to boost self-confidence, develop self-security, to let go of fear and attract physical abundance.

Pau D'Arco
We use Pau D'Arco Bark in our Root Chakra Soaps.
Native to South America, The Pau d'Arco is a tree resistant to disease and decay.
Its wood has been used to treat pain, arthritis, inflammation of the prostate gland, fever and ulcers.
Two active chemicals in the Pau d'Arco have been proven to kill some bacterias, fungi, viruses and parasites. It is often used to treat : Candidiasis, Herpes, Influenza, Parasitic diseases, Bacterial infections.

Black Onyx
Find a full size Black Onyx tumbled gemstone in each of our Root Chakra Soaps.
The great particularity of Onyx is the alternation of black bands, or very brown, with white bands. In antiquity, people skillfully used Onyx. at Abydos in Egypt, a large number of plates, vases and large Onyx jars have been discovered. Onyx earring beads are frequently found deposited in funerary temples. The Romans made signet rings engraved with various symbols. People were once wary of its powers, but modern lithotherapy recognizes many virtues in Onyx. It embodies strength and self-mastery. The Black Onyx gives confidence in the future, promotes balance, control of emotions and passions, soothes hypochondria, encourages a sense of responsibility, stimulates the search for truth, banishes nightmares and bad dreams, alleviates worries and bad memories and provides support in difficult times, like grief.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MY CRYSTAL
In lithotherapy, the optimal use of stones, endowed with precious virtues, goes through rituals of purification and recharging. Ideally, we recommend cleaning the minerals between each session of use. An appropriate time and frequency of refilling allows you to benefit from the properties of the stones at their peak.
Onyx purifies itself frequently. Distilled water or a slightly soapy water followed by rinsing will suit it best. Avoid other substances that are too aggressive. Recharging will be done either in a mass of quartz, or in solar or lunar light.
